98-99 UD Choice - Anybody hit a Gold?

Bought about 6 boxes of these since they started showing up at Canadian Walmarts for $8 a box. I have about 12 sets of the starquest blue, almost a complete set of starquest green, a bunch of reds and nearly a whole set of bobble heads but I've yet to hit a starquest gold /100. Anybody hit one of these? or know how hard they are to get?

Also looking for a choice reserve Brian Gionta if anyone has one.

The Golds were extremely rare when that stuff came out. I believe they are numbered /50 or /100 but showed up about every 20 cases or so.

Ive busted 3 wal mart boxes, notta. There are 3000 total golds in circulation (30 cards /100) and they are damn impossible to find. Just check ebay, guaranteed u wont find one. If you buy all the wal mart boxes and manage to hit just one, it will be a good investment i guarantee that. Im sure they are very sought after cards for player collectors. im debating going back to get the rest of the boxes at the walmarts here. At least ill complete the green and red starquest sets in the process of gold hunting lol

I've bought 3 boxes for the $8 and nothing. 3 or 4 sets of the blue, most of the green and some red. Getting close to all the bobbleheads and I'm about 30 cards short of the main set.
Getting a good number of Choice Reserve too.

I got an assorted box of packs like 10 years ago or so that had a pack of ud choice and i ended up getting a Leclair gold, probably my best hit ever at the time lol. only broke like 10 packs of the stuff.had a little damage on it, ended up selling it for $15 to another member on here. ive seen Roy sell for $200 and i think i remember a Forsberg going for $100, both were earlier this year. Hell of a pull if u end up getting one

Actually there is a Brodeur on EBAY right now starting at $50 or $60,cant remember....I myself have a Brodeur,Messier,and Kariya,but they are extremly hard to find...With the boxes hard to find,I would guess the golds will become.even more difficult to come across...Very nice cards though.

Being in the business, I have seen 2 in person - ever! I have a Koivu (just traded for it) that everyone was trying to obtain our last trade night.... Very rare.

There is a Broduer on ebay right now that we are all following it anxiously to see what it goes for.
