Any suggestions on what I should get?

Im going to be getting about $1500 around December and I have decided to spend it on Boxes/Cases. The problem is I havent opened very many boxes so I have no idea what is fun/best chance to get your money back.

I was thinking black diamond 11-12 and artifacts 11-12, but I have no idea.
Will take any suggestions.

black diamond does look very good this year. perhaps a deposit on Crown Royale. That was big last year and could be again. No sell sheet yet, but I am looking for a good follow up.

If it were me, I would take about 400 of the 1500 and invest it in a Heroes and Prospects case to start. Lots of nice cards and cases can be grabbed relatively cheap. Crown Royale like said above is a good option, such an awesome set. The Cup too much of a gamble if it were for me, but a box of ITG Ultimate for about 500$ isnt a bad idea either! Best of luck with whatever u decide, keep us all updated

Also, SP Authentic case is never a bad option either, your guaranteed at least 30 autographs out of a case, let alone the dual, triples, quads, fives, etc that u could pull out as well as the other low numbered nice stuff

Black diamond is great, i love it.... but it misses with that possible one big hit per case.

I'd pre-rder the Cup or SPA with a LCS before I bought the BD or Artifacts

I'd personally save $800 for yourself, and use $700 for Heroes and Prospects or Black Diamond...

Yeah this would probably be your best option, save a big chunk and invest into PC stuff and buy up some nice tradebait lots here on SCF. You'll get a better ROI then just investing it all into boxes

Ive already saved a big chunk of money for PC and Heroes and prospects does sound good. So far I am thinking of doing a couple boxes of black diamond 11-12 a case of heroes and prospects (not sure what year) and something else. Maybe crown royal. Or maybe a case of Heroes and Prospects and a case of Black Diamond 11-12

the 08-09 H&P u can pick up now for ~$400 which is a great deal, im stuck on 07-08 as a friend busted one box last week and pulled a Jordan Staal Auto, James Sheppard Gloves are Off Gold /10 with a sick glove piece and Andrew Ebbetts Complete AHL Logo 1/1. Duh was a rediculously lucky hot box lol, but still worth a shot with a case. The new H&P ull be looking around 700$ for a case, could almost get 2 cases of 08-09 for a little more

Maybe 1 case of 08-09 H&P $400, 1 case of 07-08 H&P $400, and half a case of 11-12 Black Diamond $500. including tax would be around $1500.
