Not sure what to get

I just recently got 2 boxes of artifacts 2010-2011, but i was wondering if there is something better to get for rookie cards. Also what box will give you the best value.

hard to say this year with so many sets, SP Authentic is always good, but for nice hits in my opinion i like the ITG boxes, Decades, Heroes and Prospects, Between The Pipes.

thanks, I just looked up heroes and prospects and the boxes are cheap and seems like you can get some good stuff in it.

for rookies, I like 10-11 contenders...but there are a few redemptions in there, so you might want to stay away from that if you dont want to wait for the redemption. Other than that, like andrew said, sp authentic is good for autoed rookies, and upper deck series 1 and 2 are good for the yg rookies, except ygs are not a good investment. The prices of them will continue to go down. for example, last year a john tavares yg rookie was selling for 80-90 dollars. Right now, its selling for $30-40. So upper deck series 1 and 2 would not be a box that would give the best value, unless you break it while YG rookies are hot (YGs usually drop in value near the end of the season).

Best value box imo, would be ITG 06-07 between the pipes, ITG 08-09 h&p or ITG ultimate memorabillia (any years). 06-07 BTP will cost you around $40-50. This is a really good price. Iv only seen this on pittsburgh wholesalers. You can get game used goalie glove pieces, game used pad, jerseys, complete jerseys, etc. Around 70 percent of the boxes you will get at least 80 percent of your money back, maybe even more. Iv seens some relaly nice stuff come out of there.

As for 08-09 h&p, you can hit a stamkos auto (value around $70)...which would automatically pay for your box, doughty auto, or any cool memorabillia. These boxes sell for around the same price as 06-07 BTP.

In ultimate memorabillia, this is one of the best products imo. Although you only get 2 hits, most of the hits are amazing. You get 1 base card, 1 auto, and one memoabillia per pack. But the good thng is that all of the memorabillia is game used. There are skate pieces, jerseys, pads, anything unique that you will not find in any panini or upper deck products. There are also rare jerseys that will sell really well, includng tim horton, maurice richard, bobby hull, joe sakic, etc.

ITG imo, is the best company, and their products are the best value in my opinion..
