Arizona Fall League
Has anybody ever sent to players c/o their AFL teams? Would love to hear of any successes or anything on the matter as I'm looking to send to a few players this fall. Thanks

I"ve done it the last 2 years. Maybe 5-6 each year. Never got a return back

I'm surprised...I would think some AFL players would be willing to sign, maybe they don't even receive the mail. Do you mind saying who you sent to?

I saw that some people got returns from Manny Machado last season.

I had the same experience as gysot, sent a handful the last two years, not a single return. I will check my spreadsheet and let you know who I sent to

2007, sent to Kory Casto of the Peoria Javelinas,
2008, sent to Drew Stubbs of Peoria Javelinas,
2008, Tyler Colvin of the Mesa Solar Sox
2010, sent to Ted Simmons, who was a coach or manager, of the Peoria Saguaros
2010, sent to Jorge Orta, who was a coach or manager, of the AZL Reds
Thats all I can find from a quick search, no responses.

I would not expect that there would be no responses. I just wonder if the team even gives them the mail.

Machado didn't play in the AFL last season. Maybe you saw returns from when he was in Aberdeen or the GCL.
