10/11 the cup

Not sure if it is because of the scan but from what i see in the break section, im a little disappointed at the design. The cards are a little too colorful. The size of the player pictures seemed taking up a lot of space and the auto/memorabilia pieces seemed a little too small.
Hope when i get my cases in hand, ill change my opinion.

When looking at The Cup scans, I notice two things.
1 - Overall, their patches seem to be quite nice.
2 - The Cup makes an art of SPs

As far as actual card design goes, they've got a nice logo, but I don't think they're any better that Artifacts, really.

Not gonna lie overall I think this is a design FAIL on UD's part. The RAPs look absolutely horrible IMO, waaaay too busy looking. I also hate the stupid hand numbering on the limited versions of the RAPs (the ones numbered to the players jersey). That card is busy enough without trying to squeeze that in too. I'm just disappointed as a whole I guess for something so high end, I expected something a lot cleaner.

I agree, definitely liked last years design much better. I think of 09-10 OPC Premier when looking at some of these.....I don't know, it will probably grow on me

I really like the Limited Logos this year. The "shield" patch window reminds me of 05/06 Cup.

I think the Honorable Numbers are ugly this year. The patch number windows seem to be thinner than last year. Im not really a fan of the half body shots.

Also, with the rookies, I agree there is too much color. Kind of my thoughts with the SPA FW /999 as well

But there sure are some beauts im gonna be picking up!

I love them.

Last year the pictures were too small.

The design was too plain.

Exact opposite this year.

I already failed in my attempt to get the Price /5 four patch card. Absolutely amazing, but he was getting offers over 400.00 and I like my game used jerseys too much to be spending more than that

Yeah too much white and plain design on most sets, like the limited logos this years, very ugly design and the bottom below the players signature where the legs stick out just look silly.

I actually prefer the 09-10 version over this year too. I am not a fan of the bottom edge of the base cards, it looks really cheap looking. I may change my mind when I have one in hand. Also, the base jerseys numbered to 25 look horrendous. No symmetry whatsoever in the lines/design around the swatch opening, and most of the swatches I have seen have been white.

And I'll add: the Enshrinement auto with that big white space for the signature going across the card is ugly. Almost looks like a sticker :(

I was excited to see Ron Francis in the Cup and in his Whalers uniform to boot, but everything I have seen so far have pieces of a Carolina jersey

Why didn't they just put him as a Hurricane?
