    Smokin' Joe Frazier

I went to Saratoga Race Track today for a free signing by Mr. Frazier. It's been a while since I've gone to an IP signing. I've had an extra boxing glove since 1996 and have had a hard time deciding who I would get to sign it. I was leaning toward getting Tyson on the glove if I had the chance but I'm glad I ended up getting Smokin' Joe.

He had trouble walking but was in good spirits and a very gracious man. I ended up getting him on the glove and my wife got him on an 8x10. She is not into sports having been inundated her whole life by her brothers and parents who were are/were sports, sports and more sports. But she is great because it was our anniversary today and she had no problem going to the signing.

I'll end up removing the personalization from the glove. I guess it was a policy today of having to get everything personalized. My wife was teasing him and they forgot to ask her name. At least I won't have to remove it from the photo.

Here are a couple of pics of Mr. Frazier along with the glove and photo.

    Thank you.

It's sad to see these guys get older. Just to think he was heavyweight champ and now he couldn't have weighted more than a buck fifty.

    Thanks again...Rick
