are we going to see a trend like the mason cup rc? Skyrocket then plummet?

I can see why Mason skyrocketed, he won the Calder, but I have no idea why Reimer cards are going nuts. Perhaps it is because he has no other high end rookie?
I think once the Leafs start losing, or Reimer gets injured his cards will drop quicker than they went up.

This thread is just going to turn into a Leafs bashing thread...

As you can tell by my user-name I am a fan. I have been waiting a long time for a decent Leafs goalie and even longer for one that came up through the organization. For me getting his cup cards was a great investment (so far) as I picked up 2 under $60 and one at $100. Right now I am keeping them, kind of like faith in the player =) Sure it sounds crazy but he has skill, heart and a great attitude.

Toronto Maple Leaf fans have been starving for talented rookies. More so talented Canadian rookies. Loads of fans, very limited copies = high prices. If he plays half as decent as he did last year I would not be shocked to see it go higher. On the flip side it very well could the way of the Monster if there is injuries or the sophomore slump. Although I hope not to the extent.
