They've got some nice Bruins to chase, Don Cherry, Ken Linsman, Normand Leveille, Reggie Lemelin...and what could be some nice Tim Thomas...Not sure why they threw Felix Potvin in there though!

I saw that quad auto and thought:
Wow, Lemieux, one of the all-time greats. Sakic, a HOFer and among the best of his generation. And Yzerman, another guy who will go down as a great of the game. So the fourth must be someone like Gretzky, or Jagr, or another all-time great and HOFer. Oh, Trevor Linden.

I am both pleasantly surprised and extremely worried. :P
There are a LOT of parallels and plain 1-jersey-swatch cards.
Pleasantly surprised because the cards look awesome and there seems to be lots of good hits, but also worried because at that price I would like to have a nice variety of inserts in my pack and those 3 packs seemed somewhat like clones of each other with only the hit of the pack being different.

i thought there was a version of the Silver Ensigns that weren't numbered? sucks for me that the only card of Callahan and Stewart in the set are both 1/1's.

The Ensigns are the NHL Shield Logo patches, so those are all 1/1's on that checklist.

I can't wait to start picking up the singles I'm looking for. Can I afford the Newman Cut?? Can't wait to find out :)

The quad auto and the Malkin patch were nice. I thought the plate/patch was kind of weird though. The majority of jersey cards seemed to be one color. Overall ok, I don't have the money to break a box, but if I did I'm not sure I would spend it on Dominion. (Will be keeping my eyes out for a Francis Brass Bonanza auto though!)
