Greatest graphing city?
OK, this is where you make a case for why your city is the best for auto hounds! Does your teams provide great access to players. Are there a good variety of places to get signatures. Are you a college town with a few minor league pro teams mixed in that allows you to get many guys on the way up? Do you host multiple events there? Make your case!
I will start with the city I used to love getting graphs from, Indianapolis!
Places for autos include: Butler and IUPUI for NCAA Basketball, WNBA, NBA, NFL, AAA baseball, minor league hockey, NHRA, Indy Car, NASCAR, NFL combines, NCAA coaches meeting during NCAA tournaments, state fair, concerts, conventions like gencon, state goverment etc... The wide variety was there. Being a small market allowed better access at events. The Brickyard and the Indy 500 are awesome as anyone who has ever graphed race practice days knows! The highest level of minor league baseball allows you get players who are close to the Show without the hassle of a big league park. Hockey is fan friendly at any level! Events like the Scouting Combine for the NFL that only takes place in Indy makes it top notch. Where else can you graph 90% of a NFL draft in two days? I have done it in Indy! Small cities are just friendlier. I rarely had issues with auto folks chasing autos. They are usually fun and respectful. Let us hear why your city is the best?

Raleigh is pretty fan friendly. The Carolina Hurricanes always sign after their practices unless they are heading off on an away game. Usually most of the bigger name stars stop and sign too. The Jimmy V Golf Classic is always played in Raleigh every year. Some of the previous stars who have attended regularly include Charles Barkley, Stuart Scott and Rick Rhoden and many others. Also Torry Holt holds a Holt Foundation dinner every year (we met Larry Fitzgerald and Marshall Faulk). Durham is a short drive away which you can pick up AAA baseball with the Durham Bulls and there is also Duke University, NCSU and..... another team I hate.
On occasion there have been some speakers to swing by such as Bucky Dent downtown Raleigh. Other then that there are no other professional teams.

Yeah, I'm not gonna lie here. New York is a great city and all, but unless you live upstate, the graphing opportunities are slim, and when there are events, they are expensive and most don't sign.
There are NEVER free signings.

I live in Central Jersey now but lived in NY for a while. I can remember when getting autographs at Yankee games wasn't too tough. Now its almost impossible. I had to pay $300 per seat for my wife's birthday present in 2008. We sat pretty close to the dugout and near the field. She loves taking pictures so I figured this would be a nice present for her. We brought one baseball, figuring only one player would be cool able to sign. We were right but we walked away with a signed baseball from Johnny Damon. Today, I couldn't afford those seats, at least not realistically. Sporting events in NY aren't exactly fan friendly at all. I go to minor league games to get my graphs, much easier. You have Trenton and SWB and Staten Island all within easy reach of here. I have yet to go to a SI Yankee game but it is in my future for sure. Then there is the Can AM league, an independent baseball league where you can graph former MLB players like Tim Raines, Jim Leyritz, Mike Torrez, and Sparky Lyle. New York area sports only care about the money you pay to get in and the money you spend once you are in there. When there are signings it is usually so packed I won't go, free or not. I don't like getting crushed in a crowd of people, especially after my days in Iraq.

New York if you graph the city at night. Los Angeles is also right up there. Both have a huge variety of celebs and sports, there's always an event going on there!

Can't complain too much about either city that I graph, Columbus and Cleveland. Cleveland has lots of dealers, but it's nice to have the Cavs and Indians...not too bad. Columbus is GREAT, but I only get the Clippers (AAA Baseball) and the Blue Jackets. I guess Ohio as a whole is pretty solid.

Philly sucks for graphing, unless you are very creative and inventive. The radio shows are ok but generally not stars. This year vick and mccoy have radio shows, so I'm hoping it improves.
