Pretty good skill wise, just injury prone and inconsistent I'd say. From a hobby standpoint, not too popular at all.

I'd agree with the comments so far, but put a couple of of ****s beside them.
Connoly is a pretty good, skilled player. He has been injury prone. He also has never got much hobby love - between the untapped potential, the injuries, and playing for teams that arn't exactly places to go to drive up your popularity (Islanders, Sabres) most of his cards could be had on the cheap.
He also just signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs this summer, and projects to be their 1st line centre. If he can stay healthy, the Leafs are a team looking for a star to latch onto. His stuff will jump in value big time if he can be a star for the Leafs.

no hobby love, alright in season, invisible in playoffs.

Any player that heads to the leafs hobby value goes up for leaf nation.
You wont be looking at much value wise unless he leads the Leafs to the cup, and even then it wont add much value.

So basically, his value will do nothing but go down.

In all honesty, and I'm not trying to rip on the Sabres/Leafs or their fans, the name Tim Connolly really doesn't have a whole lot of pull outside of his team's hometown. On a team like Detroit, Washington, Boston, etc. he is nothing more than a 3rd line role player, no different than a Dan Cleary or Michael Ryder...

He shares my birthday down to the day, so I'm one of his collectors!
