07/08 vs. 08/09
Hey guys I think I'm gonna buy a fat pack box off ebay and I was wondering which one you think i should go with
07/08 upper deck series 2 (has toews young gun)
or
08/09 upper series 1 (has stamkos young gun)
I am a hawks fan but i don't know which one i should go with
Any suggestions???

I would go with 07-08. IN 08-09 Series 1, Stamkos is a big draw, but not much else there.
Whereas with 07-08 Series 2, you have Toews and Halak YG available PLUS victory RC's of a very strong rookie class (Price, Kane, etc...)

The other thing is that the 07/08 only has 10 packs and the 08/09 has 18

Halak is in UD Series 1. I pulled at least 4 of them and was let down every time I saw the Habs logo and a goalie. LOL

I would go with the 08-09 - Series 1 is always stronger and there's some real hidden gems in there: Bogosian, Voracek, Doughty, Giroux, Turris, Pietrangelo, Schenn, and of course Stammer.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

+1 Series 1 is always strong, and there are some better decent YGs to be pulled. The 07-08 the main ones I can recall from Ser.2 is Toews, Rask, Cogliano, Setoguchi, and Perron.

Buy a Retail Box instead of Fat Packs. Retail Boxes get you a Young Gun hit with less packs opened than Fat Packs.
Fat Pack Young Gun Hits are far too long in odds.

I was just thinking about the fat pack box because you get a lot more cards for 10-15 bucks cheaper. And if you look at the odds, you're only getting one less young gun
