This. The first few days yielded quite a few Dominion breaks on this forum and notable youtube channels as well...but it almost seems like it has stopped, whereas The Cup just keeps going and going.

It's odd....the cards are not selling very high and the publicized breaks have slowed down.

Honestly, when I see high end collectors either regretting their breaks or saying they are not interested in the cards that definitely steers me away from them. Unless it is a PC item.

Just my take, WAY too many versions of the same card.

I love the cup! Same stuff every year with tweaks to the design, don't fix what ain't broke.

Here was so much anticipation for Dominion, myself included. The patches are beautiful, the designs are beautiful...but to have a rookie card with a /99 /25 /5 /1....makes no sense to me, maybe it's because I am accustomed to the cup, /99 and /jersey #. I guess the cup also has the platinum and the /1....

Don't quite get it. I guess if people are looking to drop $400 they would rather a sure thing.

Initially it seems like Dominion has more value per break, more cards, nice patches, more limited rookie runs, but it doesn't translate at all into better sales overall.

To the buster who keeps what he pulls-Great
To the buster who sells what he pulls-Extremely hit and miss. When you pull a /99 rookie and its Cup counterpart outsells it by hundreds of dollars, its a realization that it will take a good long time before collectors categorize Dominion in with the Cup.

    Well said.

With that said...these are some CRAZY cup prices!
