LOL the first thing I thought of was here comes a Steeler fan when I read the title of the post.....you must be pretty lonely in Pittsburgh not being a Steeler fan.....it's like a religion up there....Anyway welcome to the SCF boards, glad you joined.

Yeah the state of the hobby is much different but it still keeps me coming back. I guess I am a glutton for punishment! Welcome again and if you need anything let me know.

HAHA, great reply Billy. It's not so much lonely as depressing and mind boggling. These local fans are such homers and so out of touch with reality, it's to the point of comical. Local sports radio talks almost exclusively about Steelers or Crosby's concussion. The Buccos are lucky to get 5 mins. of airtime.

Great example, 2 weeks ago they were talking about who people think are the top 3 QB's in the league.... EVEN THE HOSTS included Big Ben LMAO. Top 3??? MAYBE bottom end of Top 10. Some even went as far to call him the best in the league. Classic homerism.

I feel the exact same way about the hobby, disgusted about where it's at, but somehow always get sucked back in.
