So I just got back from my day of graphing. I left my house at about 10:15 for the hour drive to the valley forge convention center to get allen iverson. I wanted to get there early to be one of the first in line for iverson cause I was going to the desean jackson signing an hour away from there that started at 1. When I get to the convention center I pick up my tickets for iverson and go to get in line and they tell me that I couldn't start a line because they will call us up by numbers. I had number 30 so I wasn't too worried about waiting long but now I had over an hour to kill. At the show with paid admission you were able to get a free auto of former gold medal boxer tyrell biggs so i bought an 8x10 and went and got my free auto that he inscribed 84 gold medal. He was very talkative and a nice guy. I walked around the show for a while until it was time for the iverson signing. He showed up on time but they didn't have him start signing until about 20 of 1. I was up to iverson by 10 of 1 and he signed my photo and was actually pretty cool. So I quickly left there and went to the desean jackson signing. I arrived at the jackson signing pretty quick and was there by 1:45. When I was at the register picking up my tickets jackson got up and went to the back for a minute everyone was told. 45 minutes later he reemerged from the back after the promoter coming out 3 or 4 times to say he would be another 10 minutes and after everyone there saw the boxes of pizzas being taken to the back. His handler came out about a minute before jackson and asked the promoter how many more autographs he had to sign and that he wouldn't take any photos with anyone or he was going to leave. He actually said this in front of everyone waiting in line. So jackson comes out with an angels hat on and sunglasses( it was an indoor signing) and an oldr guy asks him" how tall are you" jackson responds 5' 11 to wich the guy responds " oh you look like your about my height and I'm 5'9" jackson then says to him "I've got your 5'9 right here son". And gets all pissy about it. I'm third in line and the guy directly in front of me has a mini helmet a full size helmet a 16x20 and a couple photos that jackson picks up an old crusty silver sharpie and signs the guys photos and literally no ink comes out and onto the photos. Then he grabs a fine point paint paint and signs the guys mini and regular helmet with a little tiny autograph. I'm next and hand him my mini that he signs with the silver paint pen( it actually turned out pretty nice just a little small). I ask him how's he doing and he doesn't even look up or acknowledge I'm there. So I think ok let's see just how ignorant this guy is so I stick out my hand to shake his and he literally pushed it away and started to sign for the lady behind me. The promoter just looked at me like he didn't know what to say and I left the store. If I hadn't paid for the auto it would of went in the trash. I have never in my life met a more ignorant person or athlete. Ill be rooting for the eagles this weekend and won't wish harm on him but I hope his time here in philly doesn't last pastthe end of this contract. I will never go to any signing he is a part of and unless you absolutely need him I wouldn't recommend ever going to one. I was warned by multiple people that jackson has a horrible attitude but never imagined it would be so bad. Sorry for the long rant and ill add some photos later of my success today as well as update the upcoming signings.

Yeah, DeSean does seem like he would be a ™™™™™™ bag...Its even worse that he acted that way at a PAID signing.

Desean Jackson's an arrogant little wannabe, this doesn't surprise me one bit. Congrats on the AI, I'm happy to hear he was a cool dude for you.

That's horrible to hear about Jackson. Sorry you had a crappy time. At least AI seemed like a cool guy. Given the image he's always had slapped on him, one would imagine him to have a Desean like attitude also, but I'm glad to hear that was not the case.

I went to the casey matthews signing yesterday and it was great! only 2-3 in line. i got a 16x20 custom photo of him. Looks AWESOME

Your dead on with Jackson. I was very surprised with Iverson on just how cool he was. I was expecting a bad experience with him also

I definetely have a new respect for Iverson and no respect for Jackson. Ill make an easy prediciton that when Jackson leaves philly hopefully soon he bashes the town or team in some way.

Nice success. They run a good signing at AB. Do you have any pictures of it?
