true enough I guess. I'm sure in the scheme of these corporate deals 2000 dollars in sales is a drop in the bucket, and Foles is a name right now that will generate attention. I agree with what you are saying.
On a note about the signing itself- what time do you guys think we should get there if we are going? I got to the carter-williams signing at 4:30 and no one was there for a 6:00 signing. However I think Foles will draw more people. His signing is at 6:30. I am thinking 4:30 again is the best I can do for work. I just hope that isn't too late.

Also add into the fact that Modells just isn't based in Philly. It's an East Coast chain of sports stores, with multiple signings happen all along major east coast cities. They are having players from the Giants, Ravens, Redskins, and Patriots also doing signings. What's worth noting about those other signings, is that like the MCW signing, you can buy items in the store to get signed. Foles is different though because he has some type of auto deal with a company preventing him from signing outside items, which makes me believe he probably signed a contract like that recently.
Either way you spin it, I think it's awesome he's doing a free signing, and Modells gets a lot of good publicly out of it. People who might not normally shop at Modells will come, and leave with a positive experience, wanting to come back just in time for the Christmas season.

It all depends on how advertised the event is. If like MCW, you don't hear anything and it's not promoted, then barely 100 people will show up, if like the Vance Worely signing a couple years ago, it's on the radio, then you will have several hundred. Honestly, like I mention to you last night, that Modells is in a big residential area, and extremely easy to get to for the surrounding neighborhoods. If there is one once of promotion, you should have no less than a 1000 people there.

I think there will be at least several hundred; I'm just wondering how early people typically show up. Most people that hear on the radio probably won't camp out at 3pm- just the hardcore folks.
But I guess it is impossible to predict.

I found out about it through an email, so you have to figure everyone with a Modells Card was notified about it. I'm sure it's going to be a madhouse.

I'm to lazy to scroll through the pages, but someone awhile back was trying to get Trotter's sig. I'm 60/40 about taking my son to his radio show the Sunday after Thanksgiving, so whoever it was, get in touch with me if you still need it.
