Decent job there. If I had anything to add it would be a little bit harsher on the parallels. I don't like the color foil variation thing they've got going on. At all. I'd personally be happy if none of the rpa's had parallel's. Just the /99 version and that's it. I don't want to have to look at one and try and figure out if it's a /99, /25, /5 or whatever based on some goofy color change. I despise that concept. Leave that for Certified.

Ideally (and this goes for the Cup too) I'd prefer they just have a base, rookies, rpa rookies, whatever insert sets they want, and have ZERO parallels for anything.

If there has to be any I'd say have a base shield and auto shield and leave it at that.

thanks guys! yea, braden, i feel ya on the enormous amount of parallels in dominion. it makes for a pain to collect and also adds an artificial rarity to a card set that shouldn't need it. but since they're there i just went with it. the different foil on the cards do look kind of cool, though you're right that some are more difficult to distinguish than others. hopefully panini will ditch the concept of this next year. a lot of collectors i'm hearing don't like the parallel overkill.

I agree with your review. I also feel like there are too many parallels in Dominion, but I really like the auto parallels, especially of the legends. I also agree that the /199 rookies should have also been horizontal cards instead of vertical.

haha yea, it puzzles me that panini chose to go vertical on the 199 auto rcs... especially since the 99s are back to horizontal.
