Graded Card Question

I have a Kobe Jersey card with an ungraded BV of 80, and it was graded a GEM MINT 10 by Gem Grading Inc.

1. Should I crack it and get it graded by BGS or PSA, or should I leave it as is?

2. If I should crack it, how should I crack it without damaging the card?

3. Does the BV increase because of a GEM MINT 10 by Gem Grading Inc.?

4. Will the BV increase if I get a GEM MINT form BGS?

I would crack it. If Im not mistaken that GEM MINT is that company thats sells on the home shopping channel. In my opinon it is crap. If you do crack it I would definaly send it to Beckett the value will go up.

call beckett and see what they tell you about opening it. they may be able to open it for you

Thanks Everyone! I will call beckett and see what they have to say, one more question is there anyway to print out a submission form from beckett, all I see is the electronic one.

FYI: Anything besides BGS, GAI, PSA & SGC is junk and will not make the card worth anymore than it's raw value. Only thing it's good for is protecting the card.

if i were you i would see if there are any signs of wear on the card that may reduce the value...i have a BCCG 10 card with fuzzy sides and rounded edges which would turn out like a 6 if graded by a good company.
