Jantzen Beach is underwhelming every time. I don't even know why they still hold it there.

It's definitley not the greatest show in the world, but I always manage to make a few nice pick ups each show and it's great to actually see the card in hand before buying (especially if you are into grading). Also, most dealers there are also open to card/cash deals. I would love to do a Portland trading group on a monthly basis somewhere. If anybody is interested, please PM me ... thanks!

I went to it in July ( but i live about 11 hours away from there) for me it was great There was a collector there with tons of purple and gold, I left cash poor card rich but cantsay i had the same luck at the lcs i went to there worst bust ever. There is a card i still want from a collector there mikan/jabbar but wounldn't know who he is or how to reach him.

I didn't see that card at the last show, but you never know. I picked up a couple nice cards at the show, its fun.

Have a relative down there that was suppose to go on the 8th and look around for me but they forgot. I guess it depends on what your use to, the closest shows to me are 4 hours away and are well smaller, the group that puts on that show seems to put on a buch of shows in that area and i think thats pretty cool for someone like me its like a kid in a candy store but i guess if you are from a place that has them it could seem like the same old but peple should support them the alternative of none isn't as good.
