    Anyone else frustrated with Upper Deck redemptions

    I have been waiting for almost 8 months for a Mike Richards / Jonathan Toews dual auto jersey out of 15. I have sent numerous email to the customer service and no response. I am going to try to call but why does it take 8 months for a redemption to be fulfilled?

    You really need to ask this question to UD, but I know they have moved this summer, the headquarter, so this affected the delay. All my redemption got fufilled except for one that I pulled and redeemed in August from UD Ultimate.

    I have two of them outstanding. Pretty sure Richie is what's holding the card up. His autograph cards were pulled from SPA and Ultimate as well. And all his Cup ones are redemptions.

    I'll just keep waiting till they finally get new stickers and build the card.

    8 months is nothing. I've waited over 3 years..... only to be told the card will not be made.

    I've got nine in the mix right now, with several that have been sitting in stock for months. Very frustrating......I get it that Markstrom hasn't signed his Ultimate rookies, but there's no reason I should be waiting on an Evander Kane 2009 rookie card.

    Get order, pull card, place in envelope, mail. I know they're busy, but the waiting times are outrageous.

    That is sick craig. It doesn't seem to matter which company you get a redemption for, it takes too long and they don't care.

    One spot UD is superior is with any replacements. In my case it was for a 09/10 SP Authentic box that had 6 fat packs and yeilded only 1 card that wasn't base. Mikael Backlund FWA.

    I didn't even get an Essentials insert, nadda. I called UD and at first the rep on the phone said "sorry too long ago, can't help you". After I agrued and asked for a supervisor, the sup had no issue helping me. I sent the required info, and today got an envelope in the mail from UD.

    The envelope contained a Cogliano SOTT, a Tyler Bozak FWA and a Michael Del Zotto 2 col FWA Patch /100.

    Very happy with the outcome !!

    All's well that ends well, as they say.
    In the OP's case, there's a lot that could be holding things up there. As was mentioned, Richards had to move across the country this summer, UD was moving their redemption facilities, and there's a host of other reasons I'm sure for the delay. This is Exhibit #23 of why I try as hard as I can to avoid redemptions.

    it's also possible that the cards were sent to the player's agents and the players aren't available to sign until they get back from their summer break for the new season.

    Agreed. Redemptions were wrong in the first place, and as more redemptions are placed in products, the more backed up it will get over the years.
