Hello from Oregon!

I'm new to the hobby and to SCF! Collected baseball as a kid (late 80s, early 90s) and jumping back into it with football which is my favorite sport to follow.

Starting out with 2011 Topps which I recently bought a hobby box and a few retail boxes of. I am also looking forward to Topps Chrome this fall.

I like set building and my favorite NFL team is the San Diego Chargers (born and raised in San Diego) and my favorite college team is the Oregon Ducks (didn't start following college ball until i moved here a few years ago, which now that I think about it is crazy, I almost like it better than NFL now). I haven't started collecting a specific player or team yet as I am still new to this, and I am still getting caught up with all the changes that the hobby has undergone.

Looking forward to getting to know some fellow collectors on here and possibly executing some trades and maybe even doing some buying and selling.

Welcome to the site....you have definitely come to the right place. Yes, the hobby has changed, some for the better.....some for the worse. The one thing that hasn't changed is how addicting it can be!
