Artifacts 2011 - Patrice Cormier Error ???

A few Patrice Cormier Artifacts have hit Ebay, but the picture on the card does not look like him ??? Anybody else noticed this ?

I just looked at a pic of the Autofacts card of him. Looks like him to me (similar to photos on other cards)

It is not Patrice Cormier on the card.
It's Spencer Machacek

UD confirmed it on Facebook.


Upper Deck Confirmed it is Spencer Machacek. Error occurred from it being listed incorrect from the photographer we purchased the images from and unfortunately it was not caught. It will be an uncorrected error. We apologize this occurred, it is very rare something like this happens.

how do they mess things like this up though?
i mean how do you put the wrong picture on a card, do they not review the product, and proofread?

when they put the wrong player on the card, how can we believe that the jerseys are real?

that's not limited to just UD. all 3 card companies have made errors. if something like that bothers you, you should probably stick to just autos in general. people make mistakes. that isn't limited to UD.
