Sending To A Player More Than Once

Whene you write to a player you've already received a success from, do you tell them? Do write a letter with the same heart as your first, or do you just skip to the point this time around? Just curious what you guys out there do. Thanks!

On the occasions that I have written to a player more than once I keep the letters similar to the first. There is often enough time between the two letters that I am confident they won't remember. However, I plan on writing a player again soon and mentioning my first letter which he commented on. I will tell him I am writing him again, thanking him for the first auto and picking up the conversation he started with me via his note.
It's up to you though. If it has been a while between requests I wouldn't bother mentioning your previous letters and requests.

It depends. I sent repeats a lot, I won't lie. Usually it's another card I end up wanting signed, or I want an 8x10 or something. If I feel that the player may remember my letter, then yeah, I'll thank them for signing "....." for me "...." and that if he wishes to not sign this time, I understand completely. But like for a guy like James Laurinaitis, I sent him a custom, got it back. Then found a great 8x10 I wanted.. And sent that. I didn't figure he'd remember me or my letter so I didn't mention it. I don't think it really matters to most guys. And I only mention previous letters to a guy I know would sign again for me.. Example. Steve Sabol. I wrote him a lengthy letter the first time, and I wouldn't want him to remember me and think that I'm selling or something, so I went ahead and mentioned it.

And BTW, I get you two confused with the same avy. Someone put up a Granderson avatar!

Just would like to add, that if it's an automatic signer (Koji Uehara) he probably skips to the point and just signs the cards. I sent to him twice. (The only person I have double dipped) and he didn't notice. I'm pretty sure I used the exact same layout for my second letter that I did with the first. Know your player.

I've done Fernando Valenzuela twice, and mma fighters Randy couture, Roy Nelson, gray Maynard and Tyson griffin once, with griffin and Nelson, I always remind them who I am , usually send a pic I took with them, and always tell them to personalize if they would like to, will probably send to mma fighters nam Pham and mark Munoz a 2nd time as well in the near future.

I would assume that most have something different to say when they send to a player a second or third time. I have mailed to the same player more than once multiple times, but never with the same letter.
