50 and or 60 points is a lot of points in today's Ham-Fisted NHL.
It's never been easier to draw a penalty in the History of Hockey, the kids coming up are stronger and faster, however, they just don't have the Hockey Nous to give a Goaltender a decent Sunburn, or know when to pass the puck for an open-netter.
My Sleeper for this year is Teemu Selanne. This man is how you play NHL Hockey, and how you conduct yourself as a good Human Being.
The ovation roar he will receive when he steps onto the ice in Winnipeg, will be heard throughout the World.

my best pick for sleeper is Derek Stepan.
and pretty much anyone on the Edmonton Oilers Roster!!
It could be the 1983 Oilers all over again!
a DYNASTY in the making!

I don't know how many people would consider Selanne a sleeper pick. He finished 4th in the NHL for scoring in the Right Wing position. Someone I would consider just because no one is sure how he'll do is Jagr.

Selanne and Jagr are both Old Men. I'd love to see them both end the year with 70 Points or more.

I don't know why, but I get the feeling Chris Higgins is going to have a good year in Vancouver. Maybe not 50-60pts, but somewhere in the 35-45 range.

Mike Frolik on Chi I think is going to have a breakout year 40-70 points.

My sleepers are Chris Stewart and Jamie Benn. Maybe not complete sleepers but I expect big years out of both. Stewart is a goal machine and missed some time last year so his numbers are kind of skewed and some people may overlook them until a bit later in the draft. Jamie Benn's time to shine is now, with the departure of Richards, lets see what he's got!!

Maybe not a sleeper because he can perform but Briere should put up HUGE numbers this year. He is an extremely talented player, you can expect him to step up big time with the Drop of Richards and Carter from the Roster.
All that said, I can see him being sort of forgotten in Drafts with all the focus being on young and up coming talent. Could be a mid to late round steal!
