    Angry Ugghhh...

On a day filled with great things in the mail (see Mail Day), I just discovered an unwanted suprise. A few minutes ago, hours after I got the bubble mailers from the mail, my mom hands me an envelope and says its for me. I feel it rigid inside an start to get uneasy. Upon opening the envelope, I discovered the card had a huge crease. It was a Pennington GU no less. Unfortunatley, I can;t dispute this as a Paypal "Item not significantly as described," because the only thing the auction talked about was the shipping and how great the seller was and his great feedback. There was a picture but it is terrible quality and doesnt show a crease. What should I do?

oh i think you CAN dispute that. The assumption is that the card is not damaged (unless the seller describes it as damaged).

I would sure try to get my money back. first to to the seller. if he doesnt want to give you a refund, then go to Ebay. Send pictures of it too.

    Just be persistent

    sorry about your bad luck

Definitely file a paypal dispute and ask the seller personally for a refund. If he doesn't give you a refund I would leave negative feedback (if it hasn't already left feedback for you). Ebay has done nothing to help me with my disputes. They just care about getting money from sellers. Who is the seller btw?

I don't think there is much you can do there.
The seller will probably plead that you should have purchased insurance, and he is not liable for that type of thing.
It has happened to me before, and I usually do not mind as long as I didn't pay much for it.

Thats the thing Bergzautos, I paid 5dlvd for it, so Ii guess I had it coming. The hassle almost inst worth it. This has just been a bad day with ebay overall.
Earlier in the day, I paid two $35 auctions with money I dont have in my account(it was processed later today, unfortunately after I paid), so now I have two $35 echeck waiting to clear on an account that is empty becuase I just transferred the money to Paypal. That is the big headache on my mind. Worse, neither seller has gotten back to me yet.
