    Help With Opening Case...

I have two cards. They are in "Sports Collectors Diegest Grading & Authentication Services" cases. They are graded as untouched. Any ideas how to open them? They have no spot for a screwdriver or anything.

They're meant to stay in the case, otherwise they would be released as raw cards. But if you really want to you could hammer very carefully around the edges... that's the only technique i've tried and it worked. I've also heard you can take pliers and break the edges somehow... not sure.

Don't blame me if you damage the card.

If you want to open an encased card, best thing to use is a Tile Scorer. With a PSA case since its thin, you can saw a notch in each side of the case right below where the label is. Then lay the small section above the label nahing over a table. Take a hmmer and give it a fer well placed whacks. You will smap off the top and leave the bottom. you should then be able to pry it right open. Beckett caese are much tougher. I use a blowtorch for those.
