Hello! Newbie here...My first Post...

Hello my name is Robert,

I been collecting (Baseball, Basketball & Football) on and off for about 20 years. I'm currently in the military and recently moved to Germany. Unfortunately, the hobby is nonexistent here. Therefore, I have decided to give SportCardForum a try in order to keep the itch alive. I love collecting Roberto Clemente from the 1955-1973 era. I have all his regular cards so now I try to concentrate on the MLB license oddball stuff like Bazooka, Khan, etc, etc… I also enjoy searching for some of the dream cards that I use to see in the card shops when I was a kid and could not afford. I recently picked up a George Brett, Young and Ricky Henderson rookies and they bring back really good memories. I really enjoy owing those cards. I also do Basketball and a little of Football but is mainly those dream cards I talked about earlier. Within the last year, I picked up Barkley, Ewing and Bird/Magic rookies and Marino, Elway rookies. I’m very proud of owning those cards since I use to spend hours drooling through the glass cases in the card shops and shows. My long-term goal is to find a nice Nolan Ryan and Lew Alcindor Rookie. However, I’m very concern with the amount of counterfeits. Last, I’m originally from Puerto Rico so I like collecting autograph cards from athletes of the island. Last month I picked a really nice Juan Barea and Felix Mantilla auto. In closing, I look forward in spending some quality time in here and getting to know some dedicated collectors like myself. I have many cards that I want to trade so as soon as figure out how to post them on this website I will be ready to trade. Thank You Robert
