    selling on eBay

I know that this is not the best basketball market, but I am about to put my first cards up for sale on eBay.

One of which is pending in a trade, but if the trade falls through I'm going to sell. It is a Bowman 48 Rose auto.

What is the best way to do these kind of auctions? I know it is up to personal preference, but I'm considering doing either a $125 BIN with best offer option or just listing it at a $50 minimum bid and letting it go for 2 or 3 days next week (making sure it ends in the prime part of the evening) on the east coast.

Any advice here for an ebay newcomer?

no reason to short yourself on the length of the auction, list it for 7 days, imo. that gives more people a chance to see it and follow it.

Maybe it's me but I always go towards the .99 auctions for the off beat chance I can get a great deal.

sportscards i agree leave them up as long as you can...but stuff like video games i have found that even if i list them for one day they still sell for the average going price and sometimes if you leave it up for 7+ days the newness rubs off and they arent making that last second decision and by time that time arrives the average prices may have fallen already lol...but yes sportscards definately leave up for longest time especially rarer and low sp cards
