Porcello isn't exactly the guy i'd want out there either for a potential series clinching game.

I have more confidence in him than I would in Burnett.

Screw the pitching, to me the Yankees arent hitting, and its not only because of Tiger pitching.

Typical bad post-season for Tex and Swish, and A-Rod is obviously not recovered from when he was out with injuries. Even Jeter has failed twice in the ninth inning now. Yankees look flat, i have seen this look before, and it usually doesnt turn out well. But i am not giving up, i look forward to tonite.

But it is because of the Tigers pitching, no?

Tigers pitching are getting the outs, and shutting the Yankees down..Although anyone can get Arod out in the postseason

Yankees are beating themselves then and not actually being beaten by the Tigers?

Combination of both. Of course Tiger pitching has been excellant, but unfortunetely i have seen the Yankees look totally flat like this many times before, and i have seen it against good and bad pitchers, and this is the wrong time for Yankee fans and the right time for Tiger fans for them to be this way, in the damn post season. I can only hope they wake up tonite.

This is not to take credit away from Detroit, but its frustrating to see the Yankees get like this from time to time.

They are playing Yankee Baseball though!

I've said it the entire year, they lack big time in pitching, and their offense lives and dies on the home run ball. Could they still win the series? Sure they could. Does it look likely? No way..For a $200+ mil payroll though you'd think they'd have better pitching than Sabathia, Nova, Garcia, Burnett

I understand being angry at your team, but its like I say alot, hitting wins regular season championships. Pitching wins world series.

Yeah Verlander, Fister, Papa Grande all suck ...not good.. the Yankees can only beat themselves no one actually beats them. (sarcasm)

For a team that has a payroll twice that of the Tigers I'd be asking for a refund. Payroll obviously doesn't mean the best.
