Should I block this guy? Well I did. What do you think?
Sold a whack of cartds on ebay last week. Low end up to high end. I have been sending cards out within 2 days of payment received.
Then I get this ebay message today:
From: sdlocal21
To: gomaz
Subject: Shipping: sdlocal21 sent a message about 2009-10 THE CUP 28/35 GRETZKY & MESSIER DUAL SIGNATURE PATCH AUTO 5 COLORS #400243946744
Sent Date: Sep-29-11 08:32:37 PDT
Dear gomaz,
Knowing this is a very high end card, you figured the charge for shipping was going to be 17.00, which I didn't know until after I had paid, why then do I not even get at least delivery confirmation, and tracking, that's incredibly ridiculous, considering I could ship a entertainment system for cheaper. Outrageous!!! The other Gretzky/Messier card I won has already arrived and came in a mini shipping box with tracking and confirmation for 2.00. You really jipped me. Horrible selling practices.

I had to gather myself before losing it. So I found my tracking info and sent him this:
Dear sdlocal21,
Card shipped with tracking. I paid over $18 to ship it to you. I have over a hundred items to ship out and also work full time to feed my family. I apologize for not sending you the tracking info sooner. Here is your shipping number: CX452885348CA. You can look this up at www.canadapost.ca. Again I apologize for not sending you this info sooner. My bad. I hope you enjoy the card, it is a beauty.
As a final comment, perhaps you should reconsider purchasing cards from Canada for over ~$75 as it is common practice to charge actual shipping costs which again were over $18 so I lost money on shipping. Therefore I did not jip you.
Regards

I'm blocking him as I prefer to deal with people who are aware of national borders and who read auctions before bidding.
Am I off-base at all here?
Could he have been fishing to see if I had a tracking number with the intent of filing a chargeback on me while actually receiving the card?
Hmmm...
Feedback appreciated.

Now I get this:
Than how is it that I can ship items to Canada for the same price, as if to USA? And others from Canada ship for the same price also. Some of you Canadians are full of you know what. Anyway at least you ponyed up for the tracking so I can have some assurance of a 350.00 package. I just don't get how something that weighs 3 ounces can cost 17.00 bucks. People from Asia dont charge that. People get away with far too much on E-Bay, its really sad. P.S. everyone has a family, what makes you any different, plus you have the option to live off your government, don't even go there, using your family as an excuse is a joke, in this day and age people have kids so they don't have to work. Just saying.
Finding it very difficult not to lash out at this guy.Last edited by 30ranfordfan; 09-29-2011 at 04:43 PM.

It's not even my sale and I'm enraged.... Totally block from future auctions.
He is a reason why I stopped selling on Ebay.

Your auction was also 100% clear on shipping charges. Let him whine... his fault for not reading.
