This is a bit overdue

Hello SCF!! I'm still new and haven't made one of these before, so I'm popping in to formally say hello!

My real name is Skot. I have a two year old son named Nathan and I'm getting married in April to a wonderful gal named Kalani. I'm 25 and work for a mortuary transport firm, picking up bodies for area funeral homes. I can remember my dad buying me baseball cards when I was five years old. We would go to the flea market on the weekends and he'd buy me and my brother baseball, basketball and movie cards, which at the time were Batman, Batman Returns, and Robocop. (I only remember it so well because to this day I still can't get the taste of that funky gum out of my mouth.)

I picked up serious collecting last year and now have way too many for me to count. I've only logged 3,300 cards in my inventory so far and haven't even made a dent. That's what I get for stacking up shoeboxes instead of organizing them as they came in.

Well I've bored y'all long enough. Thanks for having such an awesome forum!

Glad to see you havre memories with your brother and dad. As it a great way for family to bond. If you have any questions feel free to ask. It a awesome site and you will be sure to add some new stuff to your growing collection. Of course now you will be organizing as it comes instead of just putting it in boxes.
