You guys can have your Triple Threads and your hobby boxes...
I now have these bad boys:

The mini-boxes from this set were my first ever box I opened, and I pulled my first ever GU card: a Cal Ripken Jr. jersey card. My first pack? This set. A hobby one. Pulled a Roger Maris Cardinals SP out of it. My first full box? This set. A retail and a hobby one, actually. Is there such a thing as a set super-collector? I wanted to get a sealed hobby box (maybe a case, but I'm guessing that's impossible at this point), a sealed retail box, and a sealed mini-box. My hopes for the mini-boxes were slim, but I can find some of the hobby and retail ones from time to time. Then I found them 2 weeks ago on ebay. They were going to be mine at all cost. Luckily, I got them for face-value: $13.99 a piece + shipping. I actually almost shed a tear holding them in my hands. It sure brought me back to that fateful day in the Toys R Us.
Now I have a pair of sealed mini-boxes, the boxes I never thought I'd see again. Well, almost sealed anyway. One doesn't have the shrinkwrap on it, but the rest of it is sealed. The other?

Split at the seam on one end. Probably due to the fact that it's nearly a decade old. Oh well, good enough for me.
Also, I picked this up last week for $21:

I guess the only question left is: do I bust the one without the shrink-wrap? I've been facing this quandary all week on whether to bust one or not... now there's no question as to which I would bust if I was going to.

I know that I would bust it. I can't hold an unopened box for more than a couple of hours before I give in to the urge and bust it
