    Need the members opinon

I was pm'ed this message and wanted to know what other people thought. Now I will name the member who sent me this because I dont want to start anything. Just want you guys opinon.

    Here is the message:

That CHART is worthless and nobody uses it because it is so far off base. The same card sold on ebay for 202.00, so 350 is a fair trade price. I listed it as a patch-Jersey. If it has stitches, its considered patch. I have other offers from people that think that its easily worth 350, but they dont have anything I want. I can come down a little on it, but would still need more than just the Hank. What else can you offer with the Hank?

The part in question is in bold. Does anybody else on this board consider a jersey card with stiching a patch card? Or just a jersey card like it is? Your opinon would be great.

    Thanks!

This is what I consider to be a patch card:

It has to be part of the Players Name, Or and of the logos on the Jersey, or tags... For ex. Like a World series patch or the Yankees symbol on the front of the Jersey or Chicago Cubs patch on the Sleeve. I do not consider stitches a patch card. Just my 3 1/2 cents!

A patch card features a patch in the swatch. Not stitches, not a multicolored jerseys, not that iron-on plastic. A patch.

Thank you thats exactuly what I said the scan I received had a pin stripe and stiching that looks like its from where the sleeve was swen on to the jersey. This guy is telling me its a patch. There is no hint of any patch piece. Well its just like I thought this is not a patch card.

    Thanks guys!

Well thats all fine and well but Im not trying to bust the guy out I was just trying to see if anybody else thought the way he did. Hey its his card so if he wants to say it books $ 25,000.00. Thats his right but some how I knew I wasnt the only one who consider that card a jersey as a matter of fact I will post a pic of the jersey piece only from the jersey/auto and you guys can see what Im talking about.......

On this forum that is the bottom line. Instead of causing issues for all of us it may be best to ignore a person if their idea is so far fetched compared to yours instead of replying and starting flame wars of some type.

Yep you got it that is exactuly why I havent mentioned the users name and also stated that in not trying to start anything. I simply wanted to know other members opinon is all. If you think I went too far then Im sorry and delete the post. Just making conversation is all. That is also why I havnt personally attacked this guy. That is not what im trying to do, just seeking opinons. I compleatly understand what you are saying and was not trying to cause issues for anyone.

    Thanks for your input
