SCF Baseball Card Traders October 2011 Trading Thread

Basic rules:

1. Each trader will send a minimum of 10 cards. Duplicates do not count toward that 10 card minimum.

2. Trades must be posted, confirmed, & completed by the end of the month. If one partner fails to send during the alloted time, he/she will be given a 30 day grace period to complete the trade. Failure to complete the deal after that will result in being cut from the group.

3. General rules, such as MSF for newer SCF members, apply.

The sitch: Filipizo & myclampdx have left the group. J19R replaces myclampdx as our Mariners rep, and we welcome Baseballfan1977 as the new Rangers rep, replacing Pyr0punk, who departed after August trading. The playoffs have begun, so let's see if we can recruit people to represent the Rays, as they're the only team in the playoff field not represented in this group at present.

Christmas is coming, and I'd like to start making plans for December. A number of members opted not to trade last December, so let's put it to a vote. Should we all take a month off in December, or do you want to try to make trades that month? Please respond via PM. I'll keep track of the votes, and hopefully, we'll have the results on November 1.

My vote is to take December off and pick back up in January.

Also, I want to get my lots shipped out early this week because I'm getting married next weekend and going on a 10 day honeymoon later in the month. I'd like to wrap up my ends of trades so to the guys that I'm trading with, please confirm our trades ASAP.

Basically, what we do is trade team-for-team in a mix of base, inserts, autos, GU's and/or other memorabilia. If interested, I can put you in on the waiting list for the Twins, unless you're interested in another team.
