Don Cherry TTM question
Hey all not exactly hockey card talk but either way I know people have alot of success with don cherry TTM and I'm just wondering has anyone ever tried sending a jersey to be signed? Picked up a nice Hockey Night in Canada jersey at a garage sale for ten bucks that would be sweet to get autographed by cherry and maybe even Ron Maclean too. Would be a nice piece for a shadowbox so just wondering your thoughts if it would be worth my time to give it a shot. Thanks! Andrew

Most clubs will request that people not send anything of any significant value or size to the team for TTM autographs. I would think that policy would also be in effect for CBC. The shipping costs alone would be at least $12 going each way.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

But even if I put concealed cash in to cover the shipping as well?

Teams require a SASE included with the package - like I say, I don't know what the CBC policy is on such things, but I can't envision it being too different than the NHL teams.

Don cherry is a pretty flexible signer. I'm guessing that he would probably sign the jersey? But it's risky and like Rich said, a lotta teams or organizations won't accept big items. If it's something you are prepared to lose, then go for it, but seems too risky IMO
Cheers

Well like I said I picked it up for ten bucks for the reason of trying so won't be a big loss so might give it a shot

Cherry is a good signer. Even if cbc refused to forward it to him due to the size, I would think they would send it back. Just a guess. For a $10 jersey take a chance!
