Luxury Suite Box Question
So recently after watching lots and lots of Luxury Suite breaks and talking to people about these breaks, I have noticed that most (and by most, i mean at least 70%) Luxury Suite boxes only have one autograph in them. Despite my hesitancy to buy Panini products, I was looking to buy a box once they dip below $100 (were originally around the $160 mark). I was looking at the Luxury Suite descriptions on most of the bigger card dealer websites and noticed:
Box Break
- Eight autographs/memorabilia per box (at least two autographs)
- Four Group 4 Rookies, numbered to 899
The product description states that there are supposed to be two autographs per box. Few and far between have I noticed boxes with two autographs. I could link to numerous youtube videos or breaks here on the forum. So, are these product descriptions incorrect? Is the real break 7 GU cards and 1 Auto? Or is this just some sort of giant production mistake by Panini?
Edit: This would be a link to one of 30-40 breaks I have seen where only one autograph is pulled. Notice the comment where the guy says he has opened 3-4 boxes with only one auto per box.Last edited by mxaxtxtx; 10-05-2011 at 09:59 PM.

Odds are that usually these "guarantees" are simply going by the odds, which mean there can be off in the actual product. I may be wrong but I do know a lot of the time this is the case.

Just looked further into this...straight from Panini http://paniniamerica.wordpress.com/2...-suite-hockey/
"Each four-pack box of Luxury Suite will deliver 12 cards — including eight autograph or memorabilia cards (at least two autographs guaranteed) and four Group 4 Rookies numbered to 899. Every pack of the product will contain two autograph or memorabilia cards and at least one RC from a staggering rookie checklist that is 125 players deep; 50 of those RCs will be enhanced by autographs, memorabilia or both."
So, it says GUARANTEED 2 autographs per box.
Is this one of the most overlooked production errors recently? I mean, seriously, most boxes only have 1 autograph.
