I would like to see some international masks, specially those used by a notable goaltender in the Olympics (Salo, Hasek, Lundqvist, Miller), it could make a great parallel-set having the same player in their international mask.

I have a hard time naming the 'best' mask, or the scariest (there has already been some really good suggestions though).

The one I want to see in the the upcomming 10th release of BTP? Will be pretty obvious, based on who it's coming from :)

I love these questions so much!

1) The best goalie mask ever was of Brian Hayward. As much as there are other fantastic ones like Vanbiesbrouck's Panthers one, Don Beaupre's Capitals one, and Steve Shield's Cheevers tribute one, the open Shark mouth is just a step above what anyone has ever tried.

2) The scariest goalie mask ever is Gary Bromley's. The design was just out there and was quite intimidating to face. Cheevers' was also a contender in that regard. The stitch marks tell people not to mess with him.

3) I desperately want to see an Irbe mask card finally make it into BTP (or any set). His 2002-03 helmet design on top of his usual cage mask was quite inspired and he seems to be one of the few winningest goalies who have never had a mask card ever made. Especially as a ten year anniversary thing, he was a big deal in the league in the 2001-02 season, leading the Canes to the final. As well, he also had several cards in that 2001-02 set.

So, long story short, I would really love an Irbe mask in the set. :)

BTW, Canada vs. The World was a superb product!

I vote Cheevers legendary stitch mask for both, it's my favorite all time and the scariest.
