Matt cooke
I watched the first game and looked like he played well. I have this to say this about him Ive watched him play for the pens for about 3 years and he is a good hockey player he can score 15-20 goals on a 3rd line and is a tough hard player.
I truely hope he has changed and will not do anything stupid this year for his and the players sake. I just wanted to say that he is actually a good player aside from the stupid things he does because everything you hear about him is bad. we really misssed him in the playoffs and it showed

I think you're using the word "great" a little too liberally in your assessment of his talents. He is a capable NHL'er, sure, with some good two-way abilities. His reputation for his dirty hits, particularly that which is largely responsible for the premature end of a much better player's career, precedes him and until he can go a lengthy time period without doing something deeply stupid his worthwhile talents will be largely overlooked.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I appreciate that he's trying to change but i must admit, i enjoyed that Cory Sarich hit on him in the Calgary game and i think it was 100% a clean hit.
