Gift Payments - SCF Policy?
Hey all, just as a reassurance, technically you are not allowed to demand gift payments from buyers here correct? Have a guy from the US here on SCF demanding me pay gift so if something happens to the mail he doesnt get screwed over. Can you say Grade A selling customer service? Rediculous
Whats the exact policy here on SCF for this

I believe can accept GIFT payments or send them but use caution & always check their feedback. I have gotten a couple GIFT payments but I still ship through paypal to have backup to cover me with a DC#. Basically just use caution & common sense!
EITHER way no one can demand GIFT payment so just say no if they try & you feel they are less trustworthy.Last edited by texansrangerfan73; 10-09-2011 at 01:02 PM. Reason: edited

Yes I use gift payment all the time, usually under 10$ or if i know the person/dealt with them before, but my question is what is the actual policy? Like if both parties agree then fine yes go for it, but is he allowed to sit there and demand I pay gift only to cover his own butt if the card gets lost leaving me with no card and no money.
Im not dealing with this guy for several reasons anyways, this being the main, but just want to know the actual policy so i can show it to this guy, as i know other forums have this rule and it should be one here too that he cant sit there and tell me i have to pay gift.
