What is this about??
I was just looking around on ebay and came across this...

or this...

Why would anyone get a sealed box or pack graded? Especially a box of 86-87 Fleer basketball cards. Is a sealed box that's graded worth more than the rookies you can pull out of the box?Last edited by buckeyeman1981; 10-10-2011 at 04:23 PM.

Basically it just ensures that cards in packs this old are still fresh and not crushed. By getting the pack graded, they "gaurantee" that the cards are not bent... (GAI 9 graded)

actually they get those pack graded to guarentee they havent been tampered with would be the first reason they would get the pack graded..its like the jordan rookie from the same set would you buy one not graded knowing how many are fakes...well people buy these wrappers and reseal them then sell them on ebay all the time..so it basically grabs the attention of the people who know they can throw serious cash at it and not worry about it being resealed
