2013 Topps Update is the third part of the trilogy for the base Topps program with Series 1 and 2. Topps uses this release to highlight events over the second half of the MLB season such as the ASG, rookies who made their debuts and various events. Like its predecessors, it contains a 330 base set. Card numbering is notated with a "U" at the beginning to prevent any confusion with Series 1. Some of the cards also have a short print variation. There are seven parallels for each card with only the Emerald being unnumbered. The Gold (/2013) and Black (/62) are available in Retail and Hobby with the rest only in Hobby/Jumbo boxes. New to the line are the Sapphire Foil cards. There is one from every base card in the trilogy of products, all of which are numbered to 25.
1971 Topps Minis (9)
Chasing History (9)
Franchise Forerunners (5)
Making Their Mark (6)
Postseason Heroes (4)
There are five insert sets in Update. Chasing History is a continuation set from the other two releases and the card numbering reflects it. It what has become the norm, there is a throwback design mini set with 1971 Topps Minis. Making Their Marks is also a continuation of a set that appeared in Series 2. New sets are Franchise Forerunners (pairing a player of today with a player of yesteryear or two standouts from today) and Postseason Heroes, which details 20 players and a memorable postseason moment. All of these sets have autographs and auto/relics available, though not for each subject.
All Star Stitches Adam Wainwright Jersey
Each hobby box will yield 1 autograph or relic, while Jumbo boxes contain 2 relics and 1 auto. The main relics will be centered around items from the 2013 All-Star Game. There are individual, dual and triple relics as well as patches and autographs within this group. There are also three manufactured relics sets. They are League Leader Pins, Record Holder Rings and Pennant Chase Copper Coins, which has a Wrought Iron and Steel version. Finally, The Ultimate Chase Cards series comes to an end with the final 10 cards of the set. Each one has an autograph and a relic piece numbered 1/1.

Looks like a weak box but I DO like the design on that game used card a lot. Whoever designed that did a good job in my opinion.
