New Shipping Speed Record From Ontario To Oregon
Very late, Last Wednesday, Oct. 5, I bought cards off mundaym.
I'm not sure if Mark got the cards out on the same day, but today I received. That is 2 days, then a long weekend with both Post Offices shut yesterday due to Columbus Day and Canadian Thanksgiving.
Arrived 9:30 am this morning in Oregon.
Distance 2,675 Miles (not km's, but miles) really only 2 business days.
That's a new record for me from Central Canada. WOOT !!
Amazing !!

Yah what's up with that, I'm getting my mail through to the US East in 2-3 days of late from Calgary. However trying to get a letter to Saskatchewan from Alberta is still taking 11 days. I think the USPS is saving the day. Canada Post is still biting it.

My guess is that this bubble envelop went to Buffalo the same day. Then it was just a matter of 2 days in the USA.
Had the bubble gone to Vancouver first, then I'd be 12-14 days.
There's no way that Canada Post had this package for more than 5 hours, or I'd be waiting another week and a half.

I had a few packages with the same thing. It was extremely quick, faster than Express Post at times. I would presume what time of the day you mail it really matters. I ship first thing in the morning and I believe someone picks it up around noon. Since mail to the US is already in a pile, I don't believe they sort it so they just ship all their US mail in one shipment to the closest US destination and from there it goes within the US system and becomes a regular US package.
And to add, Canadian mails is usually air mail so it arrives to the US a lot quicker. US to Canada from what I know goes from truck to city to another city and then to another until it reaches the closest US city either as a border shipment (trucking it over) or a central airport shipment.
