Started in the late 80s, I remember collecting MLB stickers from the book store that my dad always took me too, and then one day he told me, "Why don't you stop buying though stickers and get some baseball cards" I would like to say the rest is history, but I actually didn't buy much but I had a few baseball, basketball & football cards, then in 1995, my Uncle bought me a 1984 Topps John Elway RC for my 16th birthday...it was perfect and in a screw down holder...and that set it off. I have been very interested in cards ever since. I have gone way from basketball & baseball and mainly stick to Football, but I that Elway RC that started it all...
