    pine tar on bat-how do i get it off?

    Morgan Clendenin,catcher for the bowie baysox gave me a game used bat yesterday at the r phills game and i got it signed by almost EVERYONE on the team!


    anyway............I'm trying to find a method THAT WORKS to get the pine tar off the bat

    any ideas?

    i think the pine tar is part of its appeal. maybe somehow you can display it suspended so its not resting on the case?

    They make special stuff at like baseballexp.com or sporting goods companies that removies pine tar, personally I would leave the pinetar on, it adds to the "Gameused"

    Most people, like me, that buy game used bats will not purchase one without pine tar on it.
    Leave it on, or it will be valued like a store bought bat.

    good idea the pine tar is a very nice touch on game used bats its more interesting.
