I have a basic store for $16.00 a month + fees. Wether it is worth having or not will depend on how much work you put into it. I have had it for about 7-10 days and sold about 16 cards so far. I dont have much listed yet due to being on vacation with wife and kids. I also sell on naxcom since some buyers only use ebay or naxcom. I have been very happy with Naxcom so far.
Good Luck, John

on Naxcom the buyer pays the fees..so you can sell for free but if you buy then you pay S/H and buyer protection (which varies depending on the amount the item your buying is)

I have had an ebay store since january. Thelisting fees are awesome, but the final fees are 8% which is higher than auctions. Although, you don't have to pay upfront if you are just trying things that might not sell. You can list an item with gallery for 3˘ every 30 days.
My store is the 15.99 variety. You do have to work at it as most buyers on ebay don't shop the stores. Your items only come up in regular searches if there are 25 or less items being auctioned. I run auctions almost every week to run traffic to my store.
It's works very well for me but I'm pretty busy at it. If you do start one, make sure to give it time. I think I sold 10-15 items my first month, The last 4-5 months, I have sold more items from my store than auction.

the listing fees are a ton cheaper. 3˘ for a gallery item with any starting price. The ending fees are 8%, but it something that you have to work at to make the $15 per month pay off. It's turned into a second job for me...but it's a fun job.
