    ask howiek, hes the expert

Thank you for the compliment, Metsmagic18. There are by far more knowledgable guys out there.
Phillykid15, Ive never heard or seen anyone get auto's over the glass. Your best bet is outside the areanas before and after the games.
The Nassau Colisuem is an easy place to get auto's.
As for what to get signed. I think that is up to you and i think its also up to you based on your budget. Pucks and Photos can be $$$$$. Cards are probably the cheapest. Another cheap option is a logo sheet. You print the logo of the team on an sheet of paper and get everyone to sign that.
I do Logo sheets, 8x10's and pucks. I do not collect hockey cards. Otherwise I would do those also.
    Good Luck

Good thread. The parking lot I heard is pretty good for flyers (I've done it for sixers) but I'd like some more info.

The parking lot is very hit or miss for the flyers and trying to get any of the stars of the team is almost impossible. It may sound crazy but the best time to do the parking lot for the flyers is after games that ed snider is at.

Interesting stuff guys, thanks for the input. How would you get guys to sign inside the stadium though? Hand stuff over the glass?

I dont think handing it over the glass would work. I did see a few people get Patrick Kane at a flyers game once before the pregame warmups. He was sitting on the visiting bench and someone called him over and he signed maybe 5 or 6.

Thanks for the input guys, does anyone know what part of the coliseum to get autos and whether before or after is better?

    hijack

not to hijack the thread, but have you ever done the parking lot for the 76ers slitz or bruds? It's pretty good. I've gotten pretty much the entire roster (except Iguodala who I've gotten inside but not outside) at one point or another. Lou Williams stops frequently, and even threw his signed gameworn sneakers to a kid one time. Elton Brand stopped one night (I think he had a triple double and 30 points that night so he was in a good mood), Turner stopped once (in the passenger seat of Jrue Holliday's car with some fine ladies in the back seat) and they both signed, Nocioni and Hawes are like clockwork every game. Some other scrubs signed a bunch too.

Just thought I'd contribute since most people posting on here are Philly guys...

EDIT: I forgot that Thaddeus Young is pretty automatic too...

The visiting team walks from the Marriot to the colisuem as early as 8:30am. The Marriot is on the east side of the arena. Then they walk back around 12:30 and then back for the game.
I would say the best time is before the morning skate, some players will not sign on the way back because they signed before.
The Islanders can park in 1 of 3 locations for the morning skate. On the north side of the arena, down the ramp below the arena and the circle on the west side of the arena. Security is tighter than in the past.
I've never graphed before or after the game.
    Good Luck
