Surfaced and Snatched, Best PC Card Pickups!

Hey guys, hadn't seen a thread like this before and thought it might be a good idea, i will start with my own. So ive been going after the 10-11 Black Diamond Ruby RC set since July, and im getting close to completion. I obtained all the other members of the Big 5 (Hall, Seguin, Skinner, Subban and Eberle) except for the Eberle. Over the past few months it has been elusive, either selling for over $100 or not selling at all. There was one stubborn member in particular who i offered $75 to multiple times for his Eberle, but wouldn,t budge from his asking price. Well last week it turns out that 2 surface on Ebay. Needless to say, i watched them both INTENSELY to see what they might sell for. I placed my bid of $75 (id be more than happy to pay $75 in order to get it crossed off) and to my delight, I won it for $46 delivered! Heres a link to the auction:

Im pretty pumped to get it crossed off, and at almost 1/2 of what i would have paid makes it even better. Hopefully you guys have some similar stories to share!

Not hockey, but about a month ago, I came across a dual patch card for my master set of a couple of players with some rabid followers. He had it listed with a BIN/OBO of $200. I threw out a price that was about where most of the other dual patches from this set go for, and to my surprise, $85 won me this:


Not the prettiest patches in the world, but Thurman Munson patch cards are very scarce. I'm happy with it.
