    Best Card Set

Which set, in everyone's opinion, is best in terms of:
    Value
    Demand in the future
Cards hold value/appreciate over time (rookies particularly)
    Popularity/tradability

I am a big Panini supporter, but the answer you are looking for is:

    The Cup

UD Series 1 & 2, only because of the YGs and some SP inserts. Most will agree.

I agree with Gatesnapper that The Cup cards should retain their value over time, but completing an entire base set is probably not possible for most collectors.

I also, would go with Upper Deck series 1 & 2.

Absolutely. Doesn't cost an arm and a leg and it is tradable among both high and low-end collector's. Only the big name Young Guns will bring much cash return, though. But Series 1/2 is more accessible than The Cup or SPanything, but isn't the lowest of the low like Victory or Collector's Choice.
