At least we didn't burn the city to the ground, right? Too soon?

Not since the Red Sox won...

If you're referring to Vancouver fans, that has nothing to do with me. And for the record I said some Bruins fans at the game were just as classless throwing stuff on the ice. Unless you were one of them your shouldn't take my comments personally.

The Bruins played a classless game, simple as that. They were being idiots and the refs called them for it. And some of the fans at the game showed they could be just as classless and threw garbage on the ice. Heres a good video of the night:

habs fans do that all the time though

I'm by no means a Canadiens fan, but this thread is about the Bruins last night. I don't care about when Habs fans are classless and litter the ice with garbage, if this thread was about them then i'd be saying the same thing. Why through garbage on the ice because your team is being idiots or losing? Don't blame the ref, blame your team.

Bruins needed to stir things up, as they are in a terrible funk, what better team to do it with than Carolina. Lol

Give the natives something to talk about. This may be just what the Bruins need.

That's original and classy.... maybe it isn't the bruins, maybe its just thier fans afterall.

My point is that fans in every city do stupid things when the teams they root for are struggling. I don't see how sarcasm is needed. Canucks fan were probably frustrated by watching idiot teenagers go crazy and burn the city. Just like there are plenty of Bruins fans (me included) who hated what they saw on the ice and off it.

100% yes. I give Cam Ward a TON of credit for simply ignoring him.

Not since the Red Sox won...

    Ugh yes, exactly.

I wasn't taking your comments personally, I was just trying to point to that all cities have "fans" who don't really care about the sport or team they just use it as an excuse to get drunk and ruin the experience for everyone else. I'm truly sorry if you thought I was targeting you or pointing a finger.

I just don't get the seemingly prevailing attitude on this board that all Bruins fans are drunk idiots that are dumb hooligans who know nothing about hockey. That is what completely frustrates me. I get that there are a lot of Boston sports fan who are loud and obnoxious and way over the top. I can't stand those types of people either. But to hint at all Boston fans are classless bafoons or no nothing about hockey since we're not located in Canada is simply ignorant.

And for what it's worth Horton came out today and said his fight that cost him 4 mins towards the end of the game was stupid and he wished he could take it back.

The product (or lack thereof) on the ice last night from the Bruins is a young team trying to figure out how to play as a team with a target on their back. They need to learn they just can't punch every person in the mouth who tries to get under their skin. Hopefully they will learn that and get back to playing the type of controlled physical hockey they're capable of.

    Have a good night everyone.
