Photobucket ?

Seems to be bugging out lately, ALOT. Anyone know a fix ?

I know we have the SCF card inventory, but I also like my cards to be available for those outside of being registered with SCF to view the cards.

Here's hoping that they can get their issues together sooner rather than later. While I always advocate for the Inventory system, I do realize that there are other uses for Photobucket and other trade sites that may not like having SCF watermarks on everybody's scans. LOL

You do not need to be a member to browse image, log off and you will see the Inventories Tab is 100% public. Also all image have a unique link that use the card inventory unique number to show the image.

To get a link, right click on the image to have the single image open in a new window and copy the link from the browser address or go, edit the card in the My Inventory tab and click the edit icon from the action column to open the edit card page and there near the bottom, you have the image link there for you to copy. Eventually I will do like photo bucket and add the link already embed into the IMG BB tag.

So all that photo bucket offer you, we do and much more including no ads.

9578 is the inventory unique number for that entry, the normal part is to show the full image and is actually a default parameter and not needed since by default we show it large. If we replace the word normal by thumb, it will show the thumbnail image

Now you can embed the link in any forum and it will work using the IMG BB code tag. Here the proof.

Well this is the only form of publicity we have, ebay and other do it, why not us. it's the minimum at least to get for hosting it for free. Also we do not trow in ads like other do. It much easier for anyone to search cards. I don't even check big bucket anymore since it ask for way to much of my time and I can't search it. So now I ask if they have what I need when a bucket is too big.

also I may add that it's in everyone interest to accept the image as in a way some may use our feature and never really trade here. So there is a down side for us too as we could pay for member that do not trade here but host the images. If a site that can't provide such service cut us off, they may end up loosing member as well. I think it can serve the whole community and we all know many member here are member else where. More so if you post single image as this should not be against posting a link to here.

So to me, if other trading site refuse them, they might loose member and eventually affect their own goals they might have. But it seem like all owners know each other and make me think of a family that many do not talk to each other. Oh well...
