what would you do?
i managed to pick up a Rookie Silhouettes /99 Patch Auto several weeks ago on ebay, at a for me very pleasant price, about 5 weeks ago. it would be the first card from that series for me and i was very pleased to win the auction because i was desperately trying to pick up a Rookie Silhouette. now, you can guess what comes, the card didnt arrive so far. :( there was a sending no. link from US Postal Service attached to the auction, but when i follow the link, it says:
The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on (date), 2011 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Please be advised tracking is not available for this product. No further information is available for this item.
i contacted the seller, and he offered me (a bit suspiciously early?) refund.
now my experience is that cards /mail gets VERY rarely lost, i had hundreds of cards sent to me in the last years and it didnt occur once. and now it happens exactly with this higher end card. so I have a lot of doubts about this auction, I can't avoid wondering if the seller found the end price too low and preferred to keep the card and refund me? he has a feedback of 100% and more than 5000 completed auctions. since i don't really believe that the card after this long (normal would be 7-10 days) will still arrive, i will probably have to accept refund, but should I leave negative feedback? at the moment I'm leaning towards it. or do you have any other idea in thsi cas? thanks for reading and your commentsLast edited by caseyramone; 10-22-2011 at 08:05 AM.

I know you want the card, but something may have happened in the shipping process. If you get your money back i wouldnt leave a neg. I just wouldnt buy from him anymore.

I would open a dispute, and go from there. Cover your ™™™™™$et. I feel for you, good luck with that.

The seller has more than 5000 completed auctions, and with 100% feedback, they must be doing something right. Clearly they are trying to make it right by offering you a refund.
You COULD open a case, but the most that does is get you your money back, and you'd already get it back anyway. I'd say take the refund, and if you really think the seller felt they could've gotten more money, just keep an eye out for that exact card.
